In January 2016, ACE Limited acquired the Chubb Corporation, creating the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company operating under the renowned Chubb name. The merger was subject to the approval of the National Commission of Bonds and Insurance (CNSF) in Mexico. ACE Seguros, S.A. was rebranded to Chubb Seguros México, S.A.
