A Desert Oasis with Rejuvenating Hot Springs

Guadaupe Canyon Guest Guadalupe Canyon Waterfall

Step into a world that has been described as a 'utopia' and 'surreal.' Guadalupe Canyon Oasis, a heavenly retreat, is located just fifty miles into Baja from the California border crossing at Mexicali. Set several miles off of Highway 2, this fabulous spot is home to thirteen serene hot tubs nestled amid a luscious grove of palm trees. Guests come to camp, hike, mountain bike, rock climb, view cave art or swim by day in one of seven naturally occurring cool pools in the granite hills above the hot springs...then BBQ and luxuriate by night in private hot tubs that go up to 125 degrees F.

These marvelous tubs can accommodate up to 16 people, and can be booked for individual evenings, full weekends or even a week! Best of all, your peace and privacy are protected by Guadalupe Canyon Oasis. Campsite gates close at 8pm and open at 8am so you'll never have to worry about loud vehicles roaring into camp in the middle of the night. There will be no blaring radios or televisions to mar your tranquility within this rustic locale.

Guadalupe Canyon Oasis recommends that you bring all of your favorite camping supplies including tents, sleeping bags, warm blankets, flashlights and lanterns, gas stove and canisters, drinking water and food for all meals. That said, it is a wonderful relief for campers to know that they can purchase essential supplies they may have forgotten like extra toilet paper, Tylenol, propane fuel and cameras (plus food and water) fromGuadalupe Canyon Oasis Store the well stocked on-site store! Other valuable services offered by Oasis staff include fixing flat tires, jump starting cars and even arranging massages!

Guests are encouraged to book their hot tubs and camp sites early due to high demand. All tubs are closed during the months of July and August due to local air temperatures above 100 degrees F. Guadalupe Canyon Oasis does not take walk-in visitors so be sure to call or email to reserve your special spot in advance.

If you have a love of hot water and the great outdoors, take it to an even more blissful level and journey to this desert oasis...where the stars seem twice as large and shine twice as bright and your hot tub is filled with rejuvenating geothermal water.
