Due to the collapse of the Scenic Toll Road (Mexico highway 1), there are two alternate routes to take to Ensenada. Alternate route 1 is to take the free road at La Misión, shown below. Alternate route 2 is to cross at Tecate and take the Tecate-Ensenada free road.
If your destination is Punta Piedra, Baja Seasons, La Salina or Bajamar, the authorities will allow you access to the toll road.Time to get to Ensenada: Approximately 30-40 minutes
