Actual Cash Value:
In case of a total loss, Mapfre Seguros will adjust on the basis of the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of the vehicle at the time of the accident. It is imperative that a realistic value of your vehicle be determined when purchasing your insurance policy. To determine an accurate value, please use the Retail Value found in the Kelley Blue Book or NADA Guide. Under-insuring your vehicle(s) may result in financial penalties in the event of a loss. In the case of over-insuring any vehicle, the insurer has the right to adjust the Actual Cash Value to reflect the current market.
