Baja Surf Guide - Rosarito Beach

Welcome to the Baja Bound Insurance Services page about surfing Rosarito Beach. We hope you find this information helpful as you plan your next surf trip to Mexico. Remember, with you can buy and print out your Mexican auto insurance policy before you go, so you don't have to make a stop at the border. The journey begins with Baja Bound!

Rosarito has several miles of beach break that can be fun and playful or fast and hollow, depending on the swell. On the north side of town is the power plant, easily identified by the two smoke stacks that can be seen as you drive south from Baja Malibu. You can start by checking it out here and then continuing south along the water until you find a peak that is working. Because the stretch of beach is so long, you can usually find a place to yourself, unless it is the height of Spring Break. There are also plenty of places to go and eat in town after your session. Rosarito is usually best on a medium to high tide and picks up everything from south to north swells.
